Student Work Featured in NPHR’s Annual Public Health Matters Seminar


The Northwestern Public Health Review will be holding their Annual Public Health Matters Seminar  on October 7th.  The Communicating Public Health Through Pictures seminar will feature illustrations by fellow BVIS students Kate Lamy, Faith Simunyu, Meredith Osborn, Grace Hsu,  Katherine Henning, Meredith Hoffman, and Bob Shonk, who  is the featured artist on their announcement – Congratulations Bob!

Last Spring, students in John Daugherty’s Illustration Techniques course students completed illustrations for the NPHR as one of their assignments.  John Daugherty and the featured students will be in attendance at the event.  Stop in to see some wonderful art and to show your support!  Here are the details for the event:

The Northwestern Public Health Review would like to formally invite you to the Annual Public Health Matters Seminar. This year our invited guest speaker will be Dr. Phil Fontantarosa (Editor in chief- JAMA).

Along with the annual seminar there will be an art gallery featuring images communicating public health through pictures from the Northwestern and UIC Communities.

We hope you can join us for this reception and seminar.
