Here is a little taste of what we do in the Biomedical Visualization department at UIC.
One of the Assignments over the summer has been to create a line drawing accurately representing a cross section of the eye.
These illustrations are products of our Clinical Sciences class. This is a class taken by students over the summer, after there first year of classes. Clinical Sciences introduces us to the variety of fields that our skill set is readily applicable to. The great thing about working on the same project with a group, is that everyone has different solutions to the same problem. Every class project is an experiment yielding various results. Stay tuned next week to see a collection of Polycystic Kindneys!
